I've recently decided to give dating a shot again after taking a break for about eight years now. I'm an introvert in a small town so dating has never been easy for me. I'm very laid back and I enjoy spending time at home watching movies, crocheting, and occasionally playing video games, but I also love any excuse to put on a dress and a pair of heels and have a nice night out with someone special. I'm not really into bars/clubs anymore. I prefer a nice restaurant or movie theater followed by a quiet, romantic spot to be alone or something along those lines. I'm loyal to a fault in a relationship and I have no time to waste on a man who doesn't love me as deeply or passionately as I do him. I'd rather be alone forever than to be with someone who makes me feel lonely or insecure in a relationship. I never fail to let my man know how important he is to me, it's nice to have the same in return. One thing I think is very important to mention. I really love animals but I have severe pet allergies to all furry creatures. It really sucks but there's really nothing I can do about it. My allergies unfortunately prevent me from getting close to someone who may have pet hair on their clothes, or in their home or vehicle. I know this greatly limits the number of potential dates, however, ignoring it would be as difficult as someone with a bad peanut allergy trying to date someone who eats peanut butter everyday.

I'm more attracted to older men with a dominant side who are honest, kind, and have a good sense of humor. I prefer to focus on meeting someone who lives within 50 miles or so as I'm not willing to move far away from my family. I can be friends with just about anyone, but as for dating I'd like to meet someone with similar religious and political views. I don't attend church but I'd be willing to if it was important to my partner. I do believe in God and couldn't date or raise a family with someone who didn't feel the same way. Politically I'm pretty centered but lean way more to the right. I don't necessarily enjoy talking about politics once we know where each other stands, but if you want to know how I feel about any particular topic just ask. I'm not one to argue with someone just because they have a different opinion, I just respect it and move on, so speak freely. I just feel like with religion and politics it's pretty important to share common views with the person I may want to spend the rest of my life with and raise my daughter around.
